Challenge

COVID-19 has done well in providing a lot of challenges for all of us! This was one of those challenges; help brand and make a video, without going anywhere, without any actors, and without cameras! The aim was to engage and inspire the isolated and remote working workers of Lloyds Banking Group to partake in a host of new fundraising activities to kickstart Mental Health UK’s 2020 campaigns.

Insight

Our client wanted the films to start like a movie trailer to set up an expectation and make the content as ‘epic’ as possible. We thought it was important to try and make people laugh as quickly as possible so prevent losing them after a few seconds. We were told that there were a lot of challenges and we had a minute to communicate the idea. One of Tusko’s specialities is short and impactful films, so we worked with Mental Health UK on a tight storyboard and concise copy and text on screen.

Solution

We had actually been devising a ‘Stock footage COVID-19 package’ to help our clients and new businesses, which came just in time! This meant that we sourced all the material online, without going anywhere! We didn’t have to go anywhere physically, but we did have to delve deep online to find the sources we needed. We also took the branding assets and animated them in the film to tie in the superhero theme.

Tusko were a delight to work with from start to finish. I really appreciated the time they took to understand our vision, and the iterative working process that took the vision and made it ten times better.

Excellent communication throughout, and a finished product that we are so very happy with. Something that really struck me was when you asked about diversity - that is something really important to us, and I really appreciate that you asked, without prompting.
